General knocks and surface wear commensurate with age and use. Both structurally stable and ready for use.
A pair of Empire-style gilt and patinated bronze five-light candelabra, c.1860, French, each in the form of a caryatid holding a torch aloft, on a stepped white and brocatelle marble base,32cm wide25cm deep56cm high (2) Condition ReportCandle sconces with a 2.5cm aperture. Both drilled for electrical wires and re-converted into candelabra. General knocks, wear, rubbing, dings and dents to metal. Some rubbing and wear to gilding and patination. Some tiny old chips and losses to marble. Overall appear in fair order.
A pair of Victorian style ormolu and white marble candelabra, with flower stem three light branches, putto columns and fluted marble plinths, 23cm wide, 19cm deep, 51cm high Both look to date to the mid 20th century, ormolu fairly bright but some oxidisation to the upper surfaces particularly of the branches, no sign of any sconces, one flower stem is now broken away and loose, one figure has distinct verdigris banding running through it, bases with very light pitting but essentially fair order.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. Paris and London, a Louis XV ormolu mounted alabaster clock garniture, the central architectural mantel clock with urn finial, with eight day movement striking upon a bell, with a pair of associated two light candelabra with classical figural finials and ivy entwined branches, clock 28cm wide, 36cm high, candelabra 25cm wide, 29cm high Honest untouched condition, clock with some oxidisation and rubbing to the ormolu, movement looks complete and comes with pendulum but not tested for timekeeping, candelabra with further oxidisation particularly to the male finial figured example, appear to onyx bases rather than alabaster.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A pair of George III three-light twin branch candelabra, each column having a tapering stem to a domed stepped foot, the detachable upper section with twin reeded spiral arms with wax-trays and three urn shaped capitals, with removable sconces, gadrooned borders throughout, each central urn and base engraved with a lozenge coat of arms, hallmarked to each section, maker John Green, Roberts, Mosley & Co, Sheffield 1804, h.50cm, loadedOne set of marks to base of sconces.Marks to bases heavily worn, marks to sconces good.Both stand well.One with old very well done repair to neck.Otherwise good with modest age/handling wear only.

Having a single pricket above four wrought C cusps with twin downfacing spikes over a twist stem with central applied cusps, further spirals and finishing it three trefoil and cusped feet, 148cm high 43cm wide 43cm deep. *CR No remarks.
