A pair of late 19th/early 20th century Meissen porcelain candelabra with three S-scroll branches and central light with overall floral encrusted decoration above detachable figural bases depicting man with cauldron and woman with scabbard, marked to shaped foliate scroll mould bases, height 52cm, span 27cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both figural bases with areas of losses to the encrusted petals, mainly to the back of the stem of female figure, also with area of re-gluing, and re-glued cracks to the rim of the sconce, the male figure with chip to one of the tips of the floral collar under the sconce, both upper sections with areas of losses to the floral encrusted decoration, one with re-glued branch at the base, both with a chip to one of the tips of the foliate collar under the sconce, general minor surface wear such as rubbing to the gilt and some dirt.
