Welsh. C1885. 48" wide x 21.5" deep x 50" High.

Important ALS to Sir Hugh Ross about the Army, asking him "whether all the Scotch and Irish Militia have been supplied with muskets, ... which Regiments are without arms and accoutrements... what number of new Tents have been actually sent to the army in the Crimea and whether those tents have all got linings or are only single...", 2 sides 8vo, Piccadilly 6th March 1855, stamped on receipt at the Office of Ordnance and with a note in the hand of the recipient at the top to Sir Thomas, asking for early answers.
