60s/70s 7" ACETATE RECORDINGS (POP/PSYCH/ROCK). Unique selection of 8 x original UK acetate recordings dating from the 60s/70s including many that were never issued as 45s. Titles are The Glass Menagerie - She's A Rainbow (Pye Advanced Promotion Acetate labels - please note graded as G with some deterioration to the lacquer), Terry Sylvester (The Hollies) - Ain't It Nice c/w Travelling Boy (EMI Studios double-sided recording likely dating from 1976, Ain't It Nice appears to be unrleased and is not the same as The Hollies song Isn't It Nice... In clean Ex condition), Bobby Graham (celebrated session percussionist) - More (Pye Advanced Pressing single-sided recording - in clean Ex condition), Jerry Shore - Talking To The Rain c/w MIss Rameses (Emidisc double-sided recording, unissued in the UK, VG condition), Proof Of The Puddin' - Color Wheel (double-sided with the same song on both sides, dating from 1967, unrleased in the UK - clean Ex condition), Peter Nelson - I'm A Ship (Emidisc single-sided recording, a B side of the 1972 release Good Scotch Whisky on Peacock PEA 502 - VG condition) and Later On Down The Line (Pye Advanced Promotion Acetate - VG) and The Merseys - SO Sad About Us c/w Love Will Continue (IBC Recording - VG condition).
Four boxed Bell's decanters: 'Bell's Scotch Whisky decanter, The Celebration Scotch to commemorate the Birthday of Prince William of Wales', 'Bell's Extra Special Old Scotch Whisky decanter celebrating 100 years of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother' aged 8 years, 'Bell's Extra Special Old Scotch Whisky decanter to commemorate The Prince of Wales 50th Birthday' aged 8 years and 'Royal decanter Bell's Old Scotch Whisky to commemorate the 90th Birthday of The Queen Mother'. (all unopened)
LLADRÓ; a pair of playful poodles playing with beach ball, a black gloss poodle, a USSR white poodle in seated position, three other gloss porcelain dogs, a Beneagles Scotch Whisky squirrel decanter (empty) and a high gloss fawn (8). CONDITION REPORT Overall good condition throughout, with light signs of surface wear including minor crazing, light surface scratches, grubbing to the foot rim, etc. No other obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
BESWICK; a model of a male lion facing left, 15 x 25cm, and a lion cub, a model of a pair of Baltimore Oriels on naturalistic flower strewn base, impressed number to base 926, height 14cm, and a Merlin Beneagles decanter, modelled by J.J. Jongue 1979, height 17.cm, a novelty Beneagles Scotch Whisky decanter in the form of a golf ball, a seated panda, height 9.5cm, a puppy dog, model 1802, and a large model of Lovebirds on a stylised leafy base (af), height 16cm, five horse figures, a prancing Arabian horse, 19.5 x 20cm, a mare with raised head, a hunter's head wall plaque, numbered to base 1382, a Shetland foal and one other foal. CONDITION REPORT Branch of one lovebird has broken in half
ROYAL DOULTON; five Whyte & Mackay Scotch Whisky decanters in the form of birds, to include Osprey, Snowy Owl, a pair of Merlin, a Tawny Owl and a Beswick Beneagles Buzzard, height of largest 20cm, all empty (6). CONDITION REPORT All appear to be in fairly good order, with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
