A vintage Remington "World Service" noiseless portable typewriter, with continental AZERTY keyboard, Srr. No. N950040, cased. Provenace by family repute: The vendor's late wife's grandfather worked for / beside Lord Rothermere; his name was Harry Morison and from anecdotal family knowledge he was the editor of the Daily Mail (continental edition) published in Paris in the 1930's from where the typewriter is beloved to have originated just before the outbreak of WWII. Harry Morison was awarded the Légion d'​?honneur. His award and medal was inherited and remained in the family with Dr Michael Wingfield Evans.
