MAXWELL LOIS: (1927-2007) Canadian actress, famous for her portrayal of Miss. Moneypenny in the first fourteen James Bond films in the Eon Productions film series from 1962-85. Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Maxwell in a head and shoulders pose, in costume as Miss. Moneypenny, with a typewriter before her in a scene from one of the James Bond films. Signed in black ink to a light area of the image, also adding her character name Miss Moneypenny beneath her signature. Together with Judi Dench (1934- ) English actress, Academy Award winner. Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Dench in a half-length pose, in costume as M, in a scene from one of the James Bond films. COCTEAU JEAN: (1889-1963) French poet, playwright, novelist, designer, filmmaker, visual artist and critic. Book signed and inscribed, being a soft cover French edition of the three-act play La Machine a ecrire ('The Typewriter'), First Edition published by Gallimard, Paris, 1941, The limited edition copy, on Alfa paper, is numbered 101, the limitations page stating, in part, 'cent dix exemplaires sur Alfa......dont cent exemplaires numerotes de 1 a 100, et dix exemplaires hors commerce numerotes de 101 a 110' (Translation: 'one hundred and ten copies on Alfa….[paper]….including one hundred copies numbered from 1 to 100, and ten private copies numbered from 101 to 110'). Signed and inscribed by Cocteau to the half-title page, 'Mon cher Andre, si profonde si haut, mon Coeur ne vous quitte plus jamais, Jean' (Translation: 'My dear Andre, so profound so high, my heart never leaves you again, Jean'), also adding his familiar small drawing of a star beneath his signature.
