He was born on January 21, 1938 in Singburi, Thailand. He wanted to learn to draw since early childhood and through his fascination with the beauty of colours of the nature, he later developed a realistic and independent brush style. Mr. Boonsuan believes that making one’s dreams a reality takes hard work and patience; arts have been his source of happiness, as well the initiation to the commitment of following his dreams.

A Thai alabaster Buddha, 19th century, the figure cross legged wearing parcel-gilt robes and with knotted hair on a lotus base, wear (39.5cm) Provenance: This has come from a good old private collection from the vendors father who has amassed a collection approx. 50 years ago. As far as we know this is fresh onto the market for the first time in decades. Reasonable condition for its age, the top of the hat looks as if it may have had a chip out of it many years ago. A lot of the gilding has wear and scratches etc., commensurate with age. The main body looks OK with no major breaks, repairs or damage noted. The base which the figure sits on is gilded at the front and un-gilded at the back and is quite rough also at the back. Overall not bad condition commensurate with age.
A Thai alabaster figure of Bodhisattva Avalokitsvara, 19th/20th century, seated wearing decorated robes and a tall crown, chips (50cm) There is a broken piece to the right hand side where the lot number hangs above where the string is. There is discolouration, several marks and small scuffs etc., commensurate with age. No other major problems are noted.
Boxing Khaosai Galaxy 10x8 signed b/w photo. Khaosai Galaxy Thai born, May 15, 1959 is a former Thai professional super flyweight also known as junior bantamweight boxer and Muaythai kickboxer. Khaosai defended his WBA world title 19 times in seven years 1984-1991 , winning 16 of his title fights by knockouts. As a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, he is widely considered as one of the greatest boxing champions of all time. He is listed #19 on Ring Magazine's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time and named him the 43rd greatest fighter of the past 80 years in 2002. Good Condition.
