LAW DENIS: (1940- ) Scotland & Manchester United Footballer. An excellent, large signed 16 x 20 photograph, the image depicting the young Law standing in a three quarter length profile pose opposite Manchester United manager Matt Busby who holds a jersey up to his new player. Signed by Law in bold black fountain pen ink to the lower white border, 'The Boss welcomes me to Old Trafford in 1962. Best wishes, Denis Law'. A very fine signed silver gelatin fibre based photograph of high quality. EX  Law joined Manchester United in August 1962 for a British Record Transfer fee of £115,000. He was brought to Old Trafford by Busby, the man who had given him his Scotland debut nearly four years earlier. Law is best known for the 11 years he spent at United, scoring 237 goals in 404 appearances, second only to Bobby Charlton. Law holds a United record for scoring 46 competitive goals in a single season.
