This poster was recorded in the records but so far this one is the only known survivor a real poster rarity.

Poster LMS PWLLHELI ON THE SUNNY CAMBRIAN COAST by Alfred Bestall. Double Royal 25in x 40in. Printed by Greycaine Ltd. Some insect damage to image, and mildew mainly to bottom border. This previously unknown LMS poster, with an identical GWR version, is believed to be the only railway poster illustrated by Alfred Bestall, who is regarded by many as the greatest artist ever to have illustrated the Rupert Bear articles and annuals, the link to the artist being Alfred Bestall was made by Geoff Courtney of Heritage Railway Magazine. A rare poster which deserves to be conserved.

This colourful original poster, depicts the Regimental Cap Badge and a Private wearing scarlet tunic, home service helmet and Slade Wallace equipment. The text tells the rate of pay and term of enrolment, also details of the different Battalions including Commanding Officers. Colours remain bright. Now mounted into a modern glazed frame ...
