Trewman, behind the Guildhall, January 8, 1779", 55cm x 44cm ( ). *Benjamin Buttell of Topsham achieved notoriety during the American Revolutionary War as a privateer, the King George was issued a letter of marque against Spanish trade on July 1 1779 and was active during the early stages of the Spanish War.
