Knobkerrie with a natural crevice and some small splits to head, with two splits to haft at the grip.The spears with orange rust pitting to the blades.

Bruises and fine cracks to head. Chips around the drilled hole.

A Zulu Prestige Knobkerrie, the large segmented wood globular head set with numerous brass studs, the tapering cylindrical haft bound with woven brass wire, 61cm. Some splits between the segments of the head with some loss of the brass studs.Possibly early 20th century in date and would have been used to show rank rather than in battle.
