A circa 1900 South African carved rhino horn knobkerrie, with turned head and long handle, length 71cm, head circumference 16.5cm, weight 304g. Provenance: The knobkerrie has passed by descent from the vendors great grandfathers family who were farmers in Natal, South Africa. It was inherited by the present owner in 1949. This lot is sold with a letter from AHVLA confirming that it can be legally traded in the UK without any further CITES certification (reference No. 21/13-14).
