A 19th century 18ct gold and amethyst fob seal - the oval amethyst with the word 'Amatemi' ('Love Me') inscribed in gothic style script, in a domed, fluted mount with coiled snake bale, 2.3cm high, the amethyst 1.5 x 1.1cm.* In good condition overall and no repairs visible to the mount. The only noticeable wear is to the pale yellow gold moulded band around the oval intaglio head. The amethyst is in good condition - crisp and clear, with just one minute chip to the edge of the table.
A 14ct Gold Mounted Oval Cameo Brooch, carved with cherubs eating fruit, 65mm x 55mm, a 14ct gold mounted lava rock bracelet, the central oval panel carved with a putti with lyre, with serpent pattern bracelet, and a 14ct gold mounted intaglio ring The intaglio ring presents in good overall condition showing wear commensurate with age and moderate usage. The interior of the ring shows some sign of repair but this is historic and is in tow places where additional plates have been added to the rear to support the structure of the ring. The intaglios themselves present in good condition other than one, the black one, which has some damage to the front. Overall an honest piece. The bracelet is damaged, the clasp has snapped away from the two outer parts of the bangle. Overall the carving is quite nice and there is no damage to the intaglio itself, however it does present as a fabricated piece, the centre intaglio being mounted in an item that was possibly a previously a bracelet. The cameo brooch presents in fair condition, it does, however, have a crack running the complete length horizontally across the piece, approximately 10mm down from the top The frame is in good condition. There is also a further crack to the rear at the bottom.Prospective buyers are strongly advised to study all images carefully prior to bidding as these form part of the condition report.
