Vergoldete Automaten-Turmuhr mit Glockenschlag, Wecker und beweglichen Figuren der JagdthematikHöhe: 44 cm. Sockelbreite 27 cm. Tiefe: 23 cm.Wohl Augsburg, um 1630.Feuervergoldete Bronze, Eisen, Stahl, Silber und Versilberung. Spindelwerk in Eisen und Eisenschnitt, Federwerke in Stahl, poliert. Federaufzug mittels Schlüssel. Die Seitenwände abnehmbar, wodurch ein Einblick ins Werk und die Federn möglich ist. Das Stundenschlagwerk ist mit den Jagdfiguren des Aufsatzes verbunden, die nach rechts kreisen. Der Viertelschlag ist zudem mit den beiden außerhalb des Pavillons sitzenden Hunden verbunden, die sich beim Schlag auf- und nieder heben. Diese Raffinesse führt eine lebendige Schauszenerie vor, entsprechend einem figürlichen Glockenspiel.Der Aufbau turmförmig, wie bei etlichen berühmten Augsburger Beispielen, auf ebonisiertem Sockel und nochmaliger vergoldeter, floral reliefierter Gehäusebasis, über der sich der rechteckige Turm erhebt. An den Ecken kannelierte Eckpilaster mit Volutenkapitellen und hohen Basen mit prominenter Diamantrustika. Der bekrönende Aufsatz verjüngt sich nach oben, dreiteilig gegliedert. Er setzt mit einem durchbrochen gearbeiteten Gesims an, mit Einblick zu den beiden Glocken. An den Ecken vier pyramidenförmige Aufsätze, dazwischen Baluster, die den runden, zweistufigen Aufsatz umstehen. In der ersten Ebene werden in den Öffnungen Figuren sichtbar, die bei Glockenschlag kreisen – eine Hirschfigur, verfolgt von einem Bogenschützen in Begleitung von Hunden. Daneben beidseits zwei kleine Hunde, die sich beim Glockenschlag anheben. Die Figürchen in Silberguss. Der obere Aufsatz, in Form eines runden Pavillons, enthält im Inneren eine stehende menschliche Gestalt mit Hirschgeweih, die sich dreht. Gemeint ist Aktäon, der mythische Jäger, der durch die Jagdgöttin Diana in einen Hirsch verwandelt wurde. Die bogig durchbrochene abschließende Kuppelkalotte trägt als Bekrönung eine plastische, ebenfalls vergoldete Figur des Gottes Hermes mit geflügeltem Petasos und Flügelschuhen. Sämtliche vier Seiten des Turmgehäuses sind in feiner Graviertechnik mit C-Bögen, Blattvoluten und Blüten dekoriert und mit runden Zifferblättern bzw. Funktionsanzeigen besetzt:An der Vorderseite das primäre Zifferblatt mit eingefasstem Ziffernring, versilbert (dunkle Patina) als 24-Stunden-Kapitelring mit römischen Stunden und 5- Minuten-Intervall-Anzeige. Alarm-Einstellungsscheibe, lateinisch beschriftet für Sonnenaufgang, Mittag und Sonnenuntergang. Die drei Zeiger gebläut.An den Seiten Hilfszifferblätter mit Angabe der zuletzt geschlagenen Viertelstunden und Stunden.An der Rückseite ein weiterer 24-Stunden-Kapitelring, der ebenfalls eine vergoldete Volvelle umschließt, mit Anzeige der Mondphasen, ferner mit Diagramm der ptolemäischen Planeten-Aspekte; die Alarm-Einstellscheibe mit 24-Stundenangabe und lateinischen Bezeichnungen für Sonnenaufgang, Mittag, Sonnenuntergang und Nacht. Prächtige französische KaminuhrHöhe: 49 cm. Breite: 48 cm. Tiefe: 16 cm.Signiert „LEROY – PALAIS ROYALE NR. 114“ (Paris).Paris, um 1815.Bronze, Feuervergoldung. Wie bei französischen figürlich gestalteten Uhren dieser Epoche üblich, steht auch die Gestaltung dieser Uhr unter einem Themenmotto: Ein geflügelter junger Genius mit Palmzweig, Allegorie für Erfolg und Fortschritt, steht auf einem Muschelwagen und lenkt zwei Pferde. Die Hinterseite des Wagens in Form eines Drachens gestaltet, Symbol der Überwindung von Hindernissen. Der längsrechteckige Sockel über vier Spindelfüßen präsentiert an der Vorderseite ein die ganze Fläche füllendes Relief mit Darstellung des Musen- und Sonnengottes in einer Quadriga, Symbol des Sonnenaufganges – daneben Hermes, der antike Gott des Handels, sowie die Muse der Geschichtsschreibung zwischen Putten auf Wolken.Das Rad des Wagens als weißer Emailziffernring mit römischen Stunden gearbeitet, darauf die Signatur. Die Speichen säulenförmig und vergoldet, bieten dazwischen Einblick in das offene Werk. Die Breguet-Zeiger gebläut.Das Werk mit Pendel an Seidenfadenaufhängung, Schlossscheiben-Schlagwerk für Halb- und Stundenschlag auf Glocke. Werkabdeckung an der Rückseite ebenfalls mit vergoldeten Radspeichen.Die Signatur nennt den berühmt gewordenen Pariser Uhrmacher-Familiennamen Le Roy (auch Leroy). Die Uhrmacherdynastie wurde durch Bazile le Roy 1765 begründet, der Herstellungsbetrieb hat über die Revolution hinweg bis nach 1829 gearbeitet. Es wurden Uhren für Auftraggeber höchsten Ranges gefertigt, wie Napoleon und dessen Familie, später mit dem Titel Hofuhrmacher für die Familie Bourbon und die Herzöge von Chartres. Die Signatur nennt den damaligen Sitz des Firmensitzes, Galerie Montpensier, Palais Royal, in der ab 1815 gearbeitet wurde. Erst ab 1828 signierte der Nachfolger Louis-Charles Le Roy die Werke mit „Le Roy et Fils“. Damit ist auch eine genauere Datierung der Uhr ermöglicht. Sehr gute Erhaltung. A.R. As is typical for French figurative clocks of this period, the design of this clock has a subject: a winged young genius with a palm branch, an allegory for success and progress, stands on a shell-shaped chariot steering two horses. The back of the chariot is designed in the shape of a dragon, a symbol for overcoming obstacles. The signature points to the famous Paris clockmaker surname Le Roy (also Leroy). This clockmaker dynasty was founded by Bazile le Roy in 1765, and the manufacturing operation continued through the Revolution until after 1829. Clocks were made for the most distinguished clients, such as Napoleon and his family, later with the title of court clockmaker to the House of Bourbon and the Dukes of Chartres. The signature states the location of the company headquarters, Galerie Montpensier, Palais Royal, where they were based since 1815. It was not until 1828 that his successor, Louis-Charles Le Roy, signed the clockworks “Le Roy et Fils”, which also helps in dating the clock more precisely. In very good condition.

Kanne in Amphorenform, gestaltet in der Formensprache des Klassizismus. Plastisches Dekor in Form von Friesen aus stilisiertem Floraldekor und drei aufgesetzte mythologische Maskarone (Zeus und Hermes). Wandung mit Hammerschlagdekor; J-Henkel. A Baccarat crystal model of a seated cat, 16cm high, together with a rabbit and a ribbed vase, all stamped, together with a pack of playing cards, in a Hermes box (4)Both decks of cards are complete. Cat has a tiny chip to the chip of the ear, which is not easy to see. The other two pieces are ok.
