A 19th century adjustable oak fire screen, the oak frame with an ornately carved panel with a protruding bust of Hermes shown with a head covering modelled as a bird set within a wreath, a vase flowers above flanked by two Liver birds, the reverse shows a similar carved scene but with a protruding bust of a female wearing a head covering modelled as a lioness, additional pull-out screens to the top and side, height 92cm.
