An Irish Regency carved mahogany fire screen, with brass mounts and an adjustable pull out top, on a fluted column an quadruped base, stamped Gillingtons and numbered 6572, 115cm high. Brothers George and Samuel Gillington produced high quality furniture circa 1815 to 1838, from premises in Abbey Street, Dublin
A pair of 19th century lacquered, painted and gilt wooden face fire screens. One painted with a man seated at a fireside and a woman and children in an interior, on shaped panels, with turned baluster gilt handles, 40cm high Condition Report: Overall in good order. Each with some very minor chipping to edge of screen, minor surface scratching and wear to enamels and gilding. The screen with the lady is slightly loose, there is a chip the end of each of the handles.

A little bit wobbly / unstable. Needlework back has several holes, etc. Otherwise general wear and tear, etc, conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
