Three fire guards including a brass Peacock example and a brass fireside companion set. Condition Report: Peacock screen is complete if slightly loose, one section had detached in the main image but this clips back in and needs resecuring (see new images), wear and use commensurate with age, some surface scratching and dirt in areas.

An Arts and Crafts copper and wrought iron fire screen, circa 1890-1900. The rectangular screen with a heart-shaped whiplash leaf cartouche enclosing three leaves, on a wrought iron leafy scrolled frame and outswept legs, 50.3cm x 86.5cm high Condition Report: Section of wrought iron frame has split and been repaired. Structurally sound. Would benefit from a clean. Edges are slightly uneven. Signs of wear including scratches and rubbing consistent with age and usage. No significant dents or repairs to the copper. Iron frame has some areas of rusting and paint has flaked.
