A pair of early 20th century Crown Devon Fielding's two-handled, baluster-shaped vases and covers; each hand-decorated with still-life of peaches and grapes, printed and impressed marks to their undersidesThere is some gilding away from the top of the finials, there is some glaze crazing commensurate with age over the lids and bodies and feet etc. Sadly it appears that both the finials on the covers have been broken off and re-affixed at some stage. There is some gilt rubbing to the handles and one the handles of the vases upon close inspection is found to be fractured and re-glued and there is a matchhead-size piece of gilding away which shows the clean white paste underneath. The other vase appears to be in general, reasonable order with no cracks, chips of restoration noted. The condition is generally commensurate with age.
