Copeland & Sons saucer dish printed with 'No.5 Off To Draw by Lionel Edwards' diameter 22.5cm, a Crown Devon ginger jar and cover printed and enamelled with pheasants on a red lustre glaze, height 12.5cm, the Rouge Royale comprises a wavy rimmed twin handled shallow bowl decorated with a cobweb design, a wavy rimmed oval dish with ribbed side handle, worn interior and chipped to both interior and exterior rims and a small baluster vase decorated with ducks in flight, cracked and with glued repairs, height 9cm (6) (Condition report: in addition to damage mentioned in the description, the Copeland plate has a small patch of decoration loss to the rim and there is glaze loss to the front underside edge of Tom Sawyer's hat)

An early 17thC West Country silver seal top Spoon, Exeter town mark in bowl, no makers mark, the town mark of a crowned sweeping 'X', with a pellet either side of both the X and the crown, see T.Kent 'West Country Silver Spoons and their Makers' Appendix A for two similar seal top spoon marks, one attributed to Christopher Easton, circa, 1600, the other circa 1625, unattributed, the seal top with pricked initials, gilt residue showing on seal top, the bowl now with significant scratches, pits and abrasions, 7in (17.8cm) long, 1.95ozt. Provenance: from The Charles C Brian Collection. Mr Charles Brian was a born in Plymouth in 1916; he trained as a solicitor and joined his family law practice, C G Brian & Sons. He had a great love of Plymouth and Devon, and amassed a collection of Exeter and Plymouth silver. His particular interest was his collection of early West Country spoons.

Alongside a Crown Devon Fieldings tea service comprising of cups, saucers, side plates, serving plate and teapot. All with makers mark to the underside.
