Goode & Co. porcelain crested dinner service, decorated with central shield with a dragon and crown, within a deep cobalt blue ground rim, comprising ten plates 10.25" diameter, nine soup bowls, serving bowl with cover and two further covers; also a set of six 'Audaces Fortuna Iuvat' crested soup bowls for the Poulet family, possibly Worcester; and eight Coalport 'Majestic Blue' side plates 8" diameter Research undertaken by the vendor - Burke's Landed Gentry (1965 edition) page 383 identifies that the service was made for the marriage of Major Henry Norris Glyn Hinde of Fordlands, Bideford, North Devon to Emily Bell on 10 August 1899 - see attached image for the full details
