Bower for The Stock Exchange Golfing Society Seniors in 1924, presentation inscription to the interior, the lid with AGB owner's monogram, 8cm., square, 98.32gr.; sold together with a 15ct. gold cigar cutter modelled as as a golf tee, 2nd prize in the Autumn Handicap 1900 at Bromley & Bickley G.C., Bower monogram; and a 15ct.gold golf medal won by A.G. Bower in the Seniors at Bromley & Bickley G.C. (3) An excellent all round sportsman, Alfred George Bower known as "Baishe" played football for the famous amateur club Corinthians and won five full international caps including captaining the side. Football items belonging to Bower are being offered elsewhere in this catalogue as lots 617 to 619.
