Rectangular model with Niëllo decoration depicting an Asian elephant and two Thai temple guards. Works by means of a click closure and the inside is equipped with a cigarette holder. This pencil case is made in Siam, which is now called Thailand. Until 1939 this was called Siam. After the Second World War and at the same time as the end of the Japanese occupation, the name Siam was used again from 1946 to 1949.
