MARIN, A SILVER CIGARETTE CASE CIRCA 1930S The rectangular case with engraved designs, the lid decorated with gold studs, signed Marin Paris, stamped with maker's mark and French poinçons 10cm (4in) long 159g (5.1 oz) Condition Report: The case has wear as commensurate with age and use, some knocks and denting to the front corners, the front of the case where the thumb piece is has some knocks and denting. One of the rivets to the front of the case has a small pit to the top, not very noticeable unless under close observation. A small rivet to the inside of the case appears to have been replaced as it is a gold coloured back rather than a silver one. The case closes well, the hinge in good working order.Condition Report Disclaimer
