A late 18th-century oak vernacular open armchair with broad cresting rail and pierced splat over a solid seat. On squared supports. Together with a Geoge III circular dish topped tripod wine table with urn stem and three mahogany Sheraton style barback side chairs with drop-in seats.Condition report: The tripod table has marks to the finish and slight cupping to the to[p and a split to the cluster where the legs jointThe vernacular (possibly Welsh) open armchair needs firming up at the joints but is in fair order for its age and rudimentary construction.
A CHINESE BRONZE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER QING DYNASTY The compressed body set with two upright loop handles rising from the everted rim, with a six character Xuande mark to the base, all raised on three tapering feet, the mouth 11.4cm dia, 12cm max, 577g. Provenance: Painswick House, Painswick, Gloucestershire.
A CHINESE BRONZE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER QING DYNASTY The compressed body raised on three tapering feet, cast with two loop handles gently rising from the flared rim, the base with a sixteen character mark reading Da Ming Xuande wu nian jiandu gong bu guan chen Wu Bangzuo zao, the mouth 13.8cm, 15cm max, 1.1kg.
TWO CHINESE CERAMIC ITEMS AND A BRONZE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER AND STAND MING AND QING DYNASTY One ceramic item a Longquan celadon dish, moulded with a floral spray to the well and narrow petals to the cavetto, the other a blue and white 'Swatow' jar painted with insects, ducks and other birds in a landscape, the incense burner with two loop handles rising from the rim, with a six character Xuande mark to the base, the stand cast as a lotus leaf raised on three feet, 31.4cm max, the incense burner and stand 1.2kg. A COLLECTION OF CHINESE CELADON ITEMS MING DYNASTY AND LATER Comprising: seven small jars, an ovoid vase, a small tripod incense burner, three small circular dishes, three 'twin-fish' bowls, a cup stand, a large Ge-type dish, and eight other bowls, some with moulded or incised decoration, together with twenty-five wood stands and various invoices dated between 1968 to 1979, the majority of invoices from Luen Chai Curios Store, Hong Kong, 30cm max. (50) Provenance: from the collection of Mary Colinet (née Skiotis), and thence by descent. Mary Colinet was born in Beijing on 20th August 1928. She married her husband Paul Colinet in Tianjin in September 1947 and later left Tianjin for France in 1953. Mary collected Chinese art and antiques, particularly during the period between 1964 and 1975 when she lived in Hong Kong. Mary spoke Greek as her first language and was also proficient in Mandarin, English and French.

Provenance: from a deceased estate, Hampshire.
