A last quarter 19thc Minton oil lamp base with inset brass liner with beaded border, above a tapered ceramic column holder in two sections including an upper section with oval floral palmettes, enclosed within a coronet and flower head bordered design, the lower section with matching panel to base, with ormolu mounted scroll tripod supports, on moulded base with rounded angles, slight chip to rim, unmarked, (h: 41cm x 22cm)
A pair of antique early - mid 19th century Chinoiserie hardwood marble side tables / stands, with pink marble inserts in studded wooden top, mounted on foliate display with guardian / Dog of Fo tripod legs atop claw and ball feet. One with a foliate panel loose but present, the other with wear to the top. Measuring 26cm tall approx., with a diameter of 20.5cm.
An 18th century George III mahogany pedestal tripod table. Raised on splayed legs with hoof feet rising through to a turned column having circular tilt top above. Together with a pair of 19th century carved Chippendale mahogany dining chairs. The chairs with carved and pierced back rests detailed to the top rails and sides. Set over drop in seats with squared legs united by stretchers. Measures approx. 99 x 52 x 53cm.
A late Zhou Dynasty Chinese 'Dui' / 'Ding' archaic ritual bronze tripod vessel censor. From the late Spring and Autumn period, circa 6th–5th centuries B.C.The globular vessel is crisply cast to the exterior with dense bands of stylised animal-form scrolls, supported on three tall feet. There is a pair of curved upright handles to the sides, decorated with leiwen patterns. The cover is cast with two bands of stylised dragon scrolls, three ring shaped hoops atop. Measures approx. 12.2cm x 13.4cm x 13.5cm.The vessels were widely used by the middle of the Western Zhou dynasty. By the end of the Zhou period, the vessel was no longer used in everyday life, but it was used as a funerary utensil.The bronze has a pale greenish-grey patina with light malachite encrustation.
A late Victorian 19th century circa 1880s Neoclassical style silver plated table centrepiece bowl. The centrepiece having a top deep dish bowl with pierced flared rims. The bowl raised on a Neoclassical shaped tripod support with crystal pendants. Central inverted finals on tripod shaped supports terminating in circular feet with embossed roman soldier heads. Base etched with initials. Measures approx. 26cm height x 21cm in diameter.
A Victorian 19th century mahogany & brass pole screen. The fire screen having a needlepoint central panel with Cockatoo parrot & flowers within a shaped carved wooden frame. Adjustable pole with acanthus brass leaves to base. Raised on a tripod base with scrolled feet. Measures approx. 130cm tall x 40cm in diameter.
