A Japanese Meiji period satsuma ware koro on tripod base, a smaller bell shaped vase and cover, a small baluster shaped vase and a larger gourd-shaped vase and cover CONDITION REPORTS The koro has all over crazing, wear to the gilding especially to the finial, some minor chipping predominantly to the inside rim. Approx 18 cm in height total. The bell shaped vase and cover has all over crazing, wear to the gilding and paintwork, some minor chipping predominantly to the inside rim. Approx 6.5 cm in height. The baluster shaped vase has all over crazing, wear to the gilding and paintwork, this seems especially noticeable to the faces and heads. Approx 9.5 cm in height. The cover on the larger vase has been smashed and re-glued badly in varying places. Approx 37 cm. All over crazing, wear to the gilding and enamel work, all items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some light surface scratching and are in need of a good clean etc

A CASED SIGHTING COMPASS etc A large cased Orr of Madras marked directional or sighting compass, in a fitted brown leather case. Darkened brass 4" dial with sliding and folding sights, with red and green sun lenses. Fitting beneath for tripod stand, the case lacking its buckle strap with some stitching repair required. A wooden boxed Inclinometer or Scale measure, with cast iron body and adjustable scale device. Marked on a plate Makers Mechanism Ltd Croydon. 6.1/2" long and 3.1/2" high.
