Of compressed bombe form with two handles, the base with apocryphal Xuande seal mark, on the original bronze tripod stand, censer height 8cm, width 20cm, weight approx 2700 grams, stand height 4cm, diameter 16cm, weight approx 1450 grams. (2)Provenance: The Michael J. Hickman Collection. Bought in Cornwall from the early 1970's to early 1980's.The staining by the handle may possibly be an old repair. The weight and size of both pieces are on the listing.

Warren MacKenzie (1924-2018). Studio pottery ceramic faceted bowl with tripod feet. Stoneware in a dry shino glaze, marked along the underside.Warren MacKenzie was a renowned Minnesota studio potter. A student of Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada, he is credited with bringing the functional Mingei tradition to the United States, and spreading it through his own art and mentorship of students during his long tenure at the University of Minnesota.Height: 3 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in.Condition:There are no visible cracks, losses, or chips. There is wear to the feet along the underside, as expected from age and use. There are no visible signs of restoration under UV light.

A REGENCY MAHOGANY TRIPOD TABLE CIRCA 1815 72.5cm high, the hinged hexagonal top 61 x 61cm Condition Report: Old marks, scratches and abrasions comensurate with age and usePlease refer to all additional images through link sent via email (with the condition report) for visual reference to condition.Some old repairs. Some fading to the top as expected. Careful attention by a qualified restorer could darken if required. Catch to the underside of the top is possibly a high quality replacement but no alternate holes visible. some screws to the catch and corresponding fitting possibly replaced. A very good quality table of pleasing and practical proportions The castors with wear and small fragmentary loss to one wheel (see images) One square foot element at the the end of one leg previously detached and with dovetail joint (only visible from underside of leg) to secure and well disguised screw in from one side. The opposing side of the base of the same leg with a relatively small and well matched spliced element. One other foot with well disguised repairs at the end of the leg (see images).
