Beefheart, etc, Queen 'The Complete Works' fourteen LP Box Set and insert, plus some CD's, also an original 'Dansette' record player (qty) CONDITION REPORT Queen 'The Complete Works' - some creasing to box and small scuff to edge corners. Most of the sleeves are in average condition with rubbing to corners and edges. The box is not numbered. The records are of mixed condition, some have significant marks and some are in good condition

Neben der Marilyn-Monroe-Serie gehören die Mitte der 1970er Jahre entstandenen Darstellungen Mick Jaggers zu den berühmtesten Porträtdarstellungen Andy Warhols. Der Frontmann der 1962 gegründeten `Rolling Stones`, die zum damaligen Zeitpunkt bereits zahlreiche Amerika- und Europatourneen hinter sich hatten und nicht nur durch ihre progressive Musik, sondern auch durch ihre provozierenden Bühnenshows zu weltweitem Ruhm gelangt waren, galt geradezu als Sinnbild einer allen bisherigen gesellschaftlichen Konventionen wehrenden Freiheit. Der Sonderling Warhol, der selbst seit den 1960er Jahren mit weiß-blond gefärbter Perücke und schwarzer Sonnenbrille sein Markenzeichen gefunden hatte, muss in Mick Jagger eine Art exzentrisches Alter-Ego erkannt haben, das ihn zu epochalen Porträtdarstellungen inspiriert hat. Das vorliegende Unikat, welches die auf Folie ausgeführte Serigrafie mit der dahinterliegen Collage zu einer abstrakt-figürlichen Komposition verbindet, muss im Zuge der Konzeptionierung des gleichnamigen Portfolios mit 10 Farbserigrafien aus dem Jahr 1975 (vgl. THE ROLLING STONES - Collection of 5 x UK LPs to include The Rolling Stones No 2 (LK 4661) unboxed Decca with a black `x` on both labels, Aftermath (LK 4786) unboxed Decca, Between the Buttons (LK 4852) unboxed Decca, Big Hits (TXL 101) blue unboxed Decca with booklet still attached and Through the Past Darkly (LK 5019) unboxed Decca in hexagonal sleeve. Condition of both vinyl & sleeves is generally VG+ to Ex.

There is some writing on the a side label, otherwise a solid copy of this rare pressing. Condition of the vinyl is a strong EX, the sleeve is a strong VG+.
