DAVID BOWIE FIRST EVER STUDIO RECORDING OF "I NEVER DREAMED" WITH THE KONRADS. Incredible piece of music history in the form of an 18 minute long audio reel tape containing The Konrads first studio recording featuring David Bowie on vocals. The tape begins with 2 instrumentals entitled "Wonderful Land" and "Hall of Mountain Kings" followed by seven different takes of the track "I Never Dreamed". The track was written by Alan Dodds and arranged by Alan, David (Bowie) and Roger Ferris in David's bedroom during 1962. They had been performing the track for a number of months when their agent, Eric Easton (manager of The Rolling Stones!) suggested they go into the studio and record a demo that he could use to try and get them an audition at Decca. David was the sax player in the band but it was felt that this track best suited his vocals and so in early 1963 they booked into R.G. Jones small studio in Morden. For the past 55 years the recording has been in the possession of The Konrads drummer David Hadfield, it has never before been heard by the general public and is the only known copy to exist. Included is a CD copy of the tape with 2 edited masters.

LPs include Sticky Fingers (UK COC 59100 A4/B3 - Ex+ lovely record, with Warhol 'pants' inner and printed insert/VG strict grading with a small tear on the front, not major), After-Math (stereo UK RE), Steel Wheels, Some Girls (original 'celebrity' sleeve CUN 39108 - Ex+/Ex 'red title'), Exile On Main St (printed inners, no postcards), Emotional Rescue, Dirty Work, Rock 'N' Rolling Stones, Goats Head Soup, Tattoo You, Black And Blue and Under Cover. The records are largely very clean Ex to Ex+ with the sleeves generally neat VG+ to Ex. THE ROLLING STONES - UK DECCA 'UNBOXED' LPs. Cracking and well presented selection of 5 x early UK pressing LPs. TItles are Beggars Banquet (mono LK 49554 4A/2A original UK pressing - Ex+ really fine condition records with perhaps just a couple of extremely faint and wispy marks/Ex+ lovely fully laminated sleeve with just some rather slight shelfwear), Through The Past, Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2) (scarce original UK mono LK 5019 P-1A/P-3A - superb Ex+ side 1 with side 2 presented in clean Ex condition, with original mono inner/VG+ original fragile octagonal sleeve with the usual wear along the 'spine', a complete copy), S/T (LK 4605 2A/3A - Ex+ side 1 which is very clean, side 2 is VG with a scratch on B3/Ex well presented non-flipback sleeve), Let It Bleed (stereo ffss SKL 5025 P-1W/P-2W original UK pressing - VG+ a few light surface marks, with original stereo inner/VG+ some light wear to the laminate, no poster or additional inserts) and Big Hits (High Tide And Green Grass) (TXL 101 2A/4A - Ex a few light hairline marks on side 2/Ex gatefold, booklet still attached). Why did Mick Jagger get into a brawl when he was crossing the street? Because he's a street fighting man! OK, I shall stop with the poor jokes now...
