THE ROLLING STONES - THE ROLLING STONES LP (FIRST UK 2A/1A '2.52 TELL ME' PRESSING - DECCA LK 4605). An essential cut for anyone serious about collecting Stone's records here with the very first UK pressing of the band's landmark April 1964 LP. This original copy contains the shorter '2.52' version of Tell Me with the matrix: XARL-6271-2A XARL-6272-1A. Deep-groove unboxed red labels are bright and legible, both sides display some spindle wear around the centre holes. The record is in strong VG+, each side displays some light/ hairline paper marks. The sleeve is in VG+ condition, a bright clean cover with a couple of the usual hairline/ light laminate creases. Back cover has handling/ storage wear/ staining).
THE ROLLING STONES - THE TRIDENT MIXES (BELL SOUND STUDIOS ACETATE - ABKCO RECORDS). An important piece of Rolling Stones recording history here with The Trident Mixes (Bell Sound Studios acetate, double LP, dated 9/20/73). 'The Trident Mixes' is a compilation of Rolling Stones' recording sessions at Trident Studios between 1968 and 1971 and appears to have been licenced by Abkco Records, though never ended up being commercially released. Tracks such as 'Give Me A Hamburger To Go' and 'Untitled' (as printed on the tracklisting on the centre labels) appear to have been given different titles in private releases which followed in 1979. Record 1 is in VG condition with non-feelable surface scuffs and record 2 is in VG+ condition with light surface marks. Both discs and crisp and clean labels. A must have artefact for any serious Rolling Stones collector.
