A memorial print with a German infantryman photo upon the front and lastly a Hitler Youth Poster Print framed. All good condition.
WW2 Royal Navy Officers Working Dress Blouse & Trousers 1944, Original wartime dated RN officers working dress uniform set, both in a matching blue serge material. Blouse has lost two of its original brass buttons, one on the front, and the other being the button which secures the waist belt, these can be sourced easily enough and re applied. Two chest pockets and open collar. Some mothing to the serge. Label to the rear of the waist band shows it to be in size 9 and dated 1944. The trousers are in good condition, with only minimal storage wear with the interior being very clean, having looked to never been issued. The label attached to the rear tell us it’s a size 10 and dated 1944. Both items are manufactured by ‘H Lotery & Co’ making this a nice, matched set.
WW2 British Army 1939 Pattern Greatcoat, Other Ranks, BEF, Original early BEF period greatcoat of the 1939 pattern, distinctive with its non-pleated back. This example has been utilized by an infantry officer, having had metal rank pips of 2nd Lieutenant added to the epaulettes and leather football type buttons. The red arm of service stipe, has been applied to each arm, denoting it to have been used by an infantryman. There is a period repair and some mild mothing to an area of the lower skirt.

Northamptonshire Regiment bandsman pouch brass badge, good condition. WW1 memorial picture frame in brass and a single long puttie.

Soviet Russian SSh-40 Steel Combat Helmet, an interesting example of a standard Soviet Russian WW2 pattern (SSh-40) steel helmet which retains much of its original green paint finish to the shell. Original three black leather pad liner system to the interior and remains of a ink stamping to the interior. The shell has received a number of bullet and shrapnel impact holes and dents, these we believe possibly done as a test and not combat damage. An interesting display piece.
WW2 German Armed Forces Parade Bayonet, with pommel top missing release button, two piece chequered grips. Housed in its blackened scabbard with frog stud. Attached to the scabbard is a pressed leather bayonet frog. Polished blade with fuller to the back edge, makers trademark of E Pack & Sohne, Solingen. Blade 24 ½ cms, overall 39 cms.
WW2 Astro Compass MK.II RAF/RCAF, Original astro compass as used by aircrews during WW2. This example if of Canadian Manufacture and attributed to a RAF serviceman, W/O R.T.Dyer who was a navigator on Lancasters with 576 SQN RAF. Having trained in Canada its likely this piece may well have come back with him. The condition is hard to improve on, very nice box with the stencilling of ‘Astro Compass MK.II’ with the store ref number and ‘Canada’. The compass itself is in very nice condition with little wear and the painted numerical numbers are clear.
WW2 British Home Front Civil Defence Head Quarters Steel Helmet, good untouched example of a black painted civil defence steel helmet with stencilled ‘HQ’ to the centre. Helmet is complete with 1940 dated liner system and webbing chinstrap. Some surface rusting to the exterior of the shell.
WW2 British Linesman Leather Pouch, Good original 1944 dated linesman patch, has the date and broad arrow stamped into the leather on the long strap end. Good strong leather with all buckles present and the two brass studs to fasten and close the pouch remain in situ. There its wear to the edges on the pouch flap and a minor repair which has been sown up.
WW2 Air Raid Precautions, ARP Greatcoat, Good original example of an ARP greatcoat. The label is still present, detailing, ‘Overcoats, Pattern No. ARP.69’ manufactured by ‘H. Lotery & Co’ and dated 1941. ARP buttons are all present. Age related wear, with some mild mothing to the lower skirt of the coat. Otherwise, a very nice piece of ARP clothing and not all that common.
Denison smock Period made from Airborne Sleeping Bag, Denison smock made from the camouflage material of a WW2 airborne sleeping bag or ‘Whitley Bag’. The Denison is constructed in the 2nd Pattern variant, with period ‘Lightning’ zipper and period ‘Newey’ pop stud fasteners. The buttons which have been used on the epaulettes and the cuffs are a mixture of civilian buttons. Complete with tail this makes for an unusual attractive piece of camouflage clothing.
WW2 German MP40 Magazine Pouch in Canvas, Original WW2 German MP40 magazine pouch, this example in made in a green canvas, dating this to be of mid-war manufacture. The leather straps are all present as well as the steel studs in which fasten the compartments. To the rear, the belt loops remain in good condition, as well as the leather extension piece with the D ring to secure onto the ‘Y’ straps. The bottom corner of the far left compartment has had a period repair utilizing a piece of splinter camouflage material, likely from a zeltbahn. The tool pouch has unfortunately been removed also at some point in its life. The canvas material has some rusting marks and general soiling to the edges from age. Overall, a rare piece of WW2 German equipment.
Two WW2 German Awards & Luftwaffe Cloth Tunic Breast Eagle, bronze SA sports badge with copper style pin and makers mark to the rear. Eastern front medal with ribbon, makers mark no.13 upon the ring, some wear to the finish on the metal work. Cloth Luftwaffe tunic breast eagle, nicely embroidered with little to no wear. All three items are in very good condition.
Collection of WW1 / WW2 British Army Cap Badges, Quantity of British army cap badges, featuring multiple different regiments and corps. This lot consists of original and restrike badges. Featuring East Surrey’s, RW Surrey’s, Royal Norfolk’s and East Lanc’s. Some have broken sliders or lugs. Also in this lot is a silver ARP pin back badge, and a WW1 Silver Wound badge, numbered, ‘B215839’. Good overall selection of badges.
Weather Reporter Ships Bell: WW2 castle class corvette HMS Oakham Castle 1943 used for convoy duties converted to a weather station ship in 1958 named Weather Reporter. Large heavy white bell metal bell with WEATHER REPORTET in red to front and arrow to back, complete clacker and small book H.M. CORVETTE, 35 cm high and 33 cm wide. Weather Reporter ship was scrapped in 1977.

Dated 1940 upon the tailor’s label. Complete with all leather football style buttons. Missing waist belt. Also included in this lot, single breasted Fire Brigade tunic. Very worn serge material in dark navy blue. Nickel buttons of the fire service throughout.
