Airfix - Three boxed 1:72 scale plastic model kits from Airfix, which includes #A11004 Avro Shackleton Mk2; A08015A Douglas Dakota MK.III; and A05330 WW2 RAF Bomber Re-Supply Set. Kits appear to be in Mint condition with loose parts and parts on sprues, in factory sealed bags, and come with instructions and decals. Boxes range Good - Very Good with some storage wear. WW2 German Army & RAD Labour Service Wehrpass and Document Grouping, all issued to Eckardt Rasch, consisting of armed forces issue Wehrpass with RAD uniform photograph to the inside. He began his military service with Infantry regiment 103 and then served in various other units until he served from 1943 in a transport training battalion. He was awarded the War Service Cross 2nd class with swords, RAD long service medal and the Eastern Front medal. Interesting it is noted that he was trained with hand grenades as well as various guns. Denazified cover to the wehrpass. Accompanied by various documents relating to his service with the RAD including his well used RAD Dienstausweis book, linen RAD personal ausweis with uniform photograph to the inside and his RAD Arbeitsdienst pass with uniform photograph. Pte Boyle Ephemera Grouping: Super grouping with good uniform photograph of her and AF badge , full of photographs in uniform with others, tickets, telegrams, certificates , post war theatre programs and Polish Parade 1946 Revue. Full of her ephemera relating to her life in Allied Forces , some other family paperwork.
WW2 British Female SOE Agent Odette Hallowes Signed Photograph, Signed by ‘Odette’ Hallowes GC MBE (1912-1995) to front and reverse, 11.5 x 8 cm. A Special Operations Executive agent in France in 1942, captured in April 1943 and sent to Ravensbruck Concentration Camp. One of the very few agents to survive the War she was the first woman to be awarded the George Cross for gallantry. With a copy of the paperback book ‘Odette’ by Jerrard Tickell 1955. (2 items)
Personal Silverware from Saddam Hussein Dinner Service, an interesting silver plated coffee pot made by the French silversmiths Chrisotel, having their mark to the underside. Engraved to the centre of the pot is the Iraqi eagle emblem whilst under the rule of Saddam Hussein. Remains in generally good condition. This item was liberated from one of Saddam’s Royal Palaces by an American serviceman who was serving during the liberation of Iraq. Very reminiscent of the images of American 101st Airborne troops and other American troops liberating the Adolf Hitler personal dinner service silverware at the end of WW2.
WW2 German Army Wehrpass Issued to a Medic in Mountain Troop Regiment Serving in North Finland, interesting and well filled out book issued to Karl Raunser, who served in the RAD, rising to the lowest officer rank. Uniform photograph to the inside showing him in RAD uniform. No awards noted in the book. Units begin with infantry regiments before in 1943 he joins a medical unit of the German Mountain troops of XVIII Armee Korps. Would appear he was serving in North Finland until being discharged in May 1945. Late Colin Kluth collection
WW2 German Knights Cross with oakleaves and diamonds winner Karl Mauss Calling Cards: Cards with family name and address in good used condition. He commanded the 7th Panzer Division and was one of only 27 German military men to receive the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. 16 items
