Royal Air Force Observer's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book of 1626045 A/C (2c) later 181395 F/Lt J B Parker. April 1944 – 1953. Flew in – Anson, Dakota, Marauder, Halifax, Warwick, Lancaster & Lancastrian. Flew with 70 OTU, 39 Sqn. This log uses book DD461A in buff with black taped spine rather than the usual blue Form 1767 book, spine cover loose one side. Trained as Air Navigator/Specialist Navigator. Navigator on ops over Yugoslavia early 1945, oil installations, marshalling yards, etc. Pasted in training certificates/slips dated 1944. Based in India 1946 and joined RAFVR 1949 for 5 years.
