A 19TH CENTURY ESSEX CRYSTAL PARURE comprising A STICKPIN AND A PAIR OF STUDS, each carved and painted depicting the head of a spaniel dog, in plain circular frames. French 18 carat gold assay marks, 2.6cm and 2.4cm diameter respectively, 32.9 grams gross, in a fitted case. (3)Some loss and deterioration to the paint, mainly to the stickpin, one of the studs with broken pieces of crystal caught behind the setting, minor nibbling to the external edges of the crystal, the pin of the stickpin a little uneven.

Edward Prior, London large early 19th century triple cased pocket watch made for the Turkish Market, London 1816, the fusee verge movement signed Edward Prior, London, no. 42336, with a fine pierced engraved balance cock, flat steel balance and fancy pillars, signed enamel dial with Turkish numerals, plain inner case, bright-cut bezel middle case and tortoiseshell outer case with pin-work decoration, case maker 'IR' (James Richards), 72mm-** Edward Prior was a London watchmaker, specialising in watches for Turkey and the Ottoman Empire.
