1930s gentlemen's Rolex gold wristwatch with Rolex seventeen jewel movement, circular dial with applied Arabic numerals, blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock position, in gold (9ct) cushion-shape case, 27mm diameter, on leather strap (Glasgow 1935) CONDITION REPORT The watch is fully wound and not running. The dial is signed but has worn away leaving the 'ghost' of the word 'Rolex'. Dial tarnished and slightly scratched and worn. Winding crown not gold and probably not original as it does not have the Rolex logo. Two 'pin-prick' size holes in the corner of the case. Case in good condition commensurate with age

One roundel with burn mark, some splits to ivory on top, more visible when viewed from reverse, base has central pin hole and associated two splits, screw thread not entirely closing. Other large box - small hole centrally to underside of lid, small hole centrally to base, two splits (closed) to side of box, metal box appears ceased and wont open. Ivory box ok.
