A George II Irish Provincial Small Silver Tazza, George Hodder, Cork circa 1750, marked GH with a star between, and STERLING, circular on trumpet shaped foot, the centre engraved with a crest of a griffin segreant holding a sword, 13.3cm diameter, 4oz 8dwt Knocks to rim and foot rim, as such it wobbles somewhat on a flat surface. Maker's mark well struck and clear. Marks struck close to junction of foot, possibly a later foot (?). Engraving of crest is generally clear. Some surface scratching and a few pin head knocks to top.
