A pair of Victorian silver napkin rings, Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1897, each of square form with canted corners, engraved with butterflies and scrolling floral detail, each with monogrammed initial to central cartouche, 40mm x 40mm, gross weight 1.24ozt, complete in associated caseCR: Each napkin ring shows a moderate degree of misshaping when viewed top down (see pictures). No thinning, splitting or signs of repair. Moderate wear to the hallmarks on each example. Light wear to the decoration, particularly around the edges. Case shows moderate scratching and wear to the exterior, commensurate with age and use. Button mechanism is slightly loose. Some wear and tear to the interior, most concentrated around the fittings for the napkin rings.
