Zeppelin L.31 Souvenir Napkin Rings, 5cm diameter x 2 ½ cms wide, from the Zeppelin L.31 shot down by Lieut. V. Tempest on 2nd October 1916 over Potters Bar. Each ring is finely engraved 'L 31' and these are numbered '1', '2' and '4'. L.31 took part in the multi-Zeppelin raid of 23/24th Sept 1916 being the only airship to return to Germany unharmed, but was destroyed less than two weeks later. Originally part of the David Kirsch Collection.

A Set of Six Plated Bladed and Mother-Of- Pearl Handled Fruit Knives and Forks with Silver and Mixed Silver Ware, the fruit knives and forks with silver ferrules by Allen & Darwin, Sheffield 1892, with engraved blades, in mahogany case with brass plaque to lid, 9.125ins x 6.625ins x 2.5ins high, a selection of silver Christening knives, forks, and spoons in six fitted cases, combined weighable silver 11.2ozs, and a set of six silver handled butter knives in fitted case Six Plated Bladed and Mother-Of- Pearl Handled Fruit Knives and Forks - the blades are plate and the ferrules are silver and bear the hallmarks for Sheffield 1892. One handle of one knife has some discoloured blemishes to one side. Generally the set is in good condition as is the interior of the box.
