RMS Titanic Interest - an important c1912 Gorham Silversmiths Co made White Star Line silver plate napkin ring. Engraved White Star Line burgee to front, and numbered ' 160 ' to the other side. No maker's marks, but stamped with anchor motif. Made by the Gorham Silversmith Co for use on both RMS Titanic and RMS Olympic, in 1912, and were to adorn the tables in the A La Carte Restaurant onboard. Napkin rings of this exact type were known to exist onboard Titanic after one was kept by a survivor, and sold at auction in 1993. Diameter approx; 4.5cm.
