Johan Cruyff yellow Barcelona No.9 jersey from the 1976 UEFA Cup Semi-Final second leg match against Liverpool at Anfield, 14th April, long-sleeved navy and maroon stripe, reverse numbered 9; sold together with Cruyff newspaper obituaries, jersey material bears some marks Liverpool beat Barcelona 1-1 and won the tie 2-1 on aggregate, reaching the Final where they beat Bruges 4-3 on aggregate. Hendrik Johannes Cruijff (Johan Cruyff, 1947-2016), widely regarded as one of the greatest and most prolific footballers of  the 20th century, enjoyed a playing career spanning 20 years from 1964 until 1984, during which he made 514 club appearances, scoring 290 goals for teams including Ajax, Barcelona and Feyenoord. He represented the Netherlands on 48 occasions, scoring 33 goals.Another Barcelona jersey from the same match, part of the Phil Neal collection, was sold at Christie's Auction 29th September 2000.Provenance: previously on display at the Bobby Keetch-owned 'Football Football' themed restaurant in Haymarket, London, from 1996 to 1998.

Bruce Grobbelaar signed replica Liverpool 1984 European Cup Final tracksuit top, from the match in Rome on 30th May, the grey, red and white tracksuit jacket embroidered with liver bird club emblem and EUROPEAN CUP FINAL ROME 1984, signed in black marker pen and dated 03/13 The 1984 European Cup Final was the first to be decided on penalties. After a 1-1 draw, Liverpool beat AS Roma 4-2 and Grobbelaar’s ‘wobbly knees’ goal-line antics during the shoot-out undoubtedly helped the club win the match. Zimbabwean goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar played for Liverpool from 1981 until 1994, making 628 appearances, 440 of these in the Football League. He won six League Championships, three FA Cups, three League Cups and the 1984 European Cup with the Merseyside club.

Helsinki Participant’s medal very fine, others extremely fine; the majority in cases or holders as issued [two cases damaged] £1,500-£2,000 --- John Jennings (1902-97), b Platt Bridge, Wigan; worked as a railway fireman before commencing his footballing career with Wigan Borough, 1922-5; joined First Division side Cardiff City, making his debut for them on 10 October 1925; appeared 94 times for Cardiff at Ninian Park, featuring in almost every league match played by the team from February 1928 to January 1930, when he was sold to Middlesbrough; captain of Middlesbrough 1930-3 and selected for a FA tour of Canada in 1931; left Middlesbrough in 1936 for a half-season at Preston North End before signing for Bradford City in February 1937, for whom he made 28 appearances and a further three in the FA Cup; joined the coaching team at Northampton Town 1945 and remained with the ‘Cobblers’ for over 20 years, living in the town until his death. Jennings also worked as a coach for the England national amateur football team and the Great Britain Olympic football team, when it was managed by Walter Winterbottom and Charlie Hughes, among others, between 1952 and 1971
