Manchester United: A Manchester United, 1978-79, long-sleeved match worn away football shirt, pit-to-pit size 18", Admiral, number 9 to the reverse, believed to have been worn by Norman Whiteside in a game. Whiteside gave the shirt to the vendor's friend when he played at Windsor Park in Belfast, for a testimonial at a later date. It is unknown when this shirt was worn and which game it was worn in. Provenance: The shirt was given to the vendor by a friend who attended a game at Windsor Park, Belfast, with Norman Whiteside's dad. Norman who played in the game at Windsor Park, threw the shirt over the fence at the end of the game, and the vendor's friend obtained it. Unfortunately, the vendor's friend is now deceased. He swapped the shirt with the vendor as he was an avid Liverpool supporter.
