A rare and historic programme from Liverpool Football Club's very first season in 1892-93,the reserves fixture v Bootle Athletic played at the Anfield Road Ground 26th November 1892, ex-bound volume As well as being an historic survival from Liverpool FC's first season, the opposition is poignant as well. For Liverpool directly replaced their neighbours Bootle in the Second Division of the Football League the following season, Bootle disappearing after just one season of League football due to financial difficulties.
A 1900-01 Football League Division One Championship medal awarded to Billy Dunlop of Liverpool FC,,in 15ct. gold & enamel, the obverse with the city crest of Liverpool and inscribed LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB, the reverse inscribed LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP, SEASON 1900-1901, W.DUNLOP, BACKThis was the first occasion in the history of club that Liverpool won the Football League Division One Championship title, with a total of 45 points two clear of Sunderland.The Scottish left-back Billy Dunlop played for Liverpool between 1894 and 1909 during which time he made a total of 357 appearances. He won a second Championship medal in 1906, and two Second Division Two medals in 1896 & 1905. Despite his success south of the border, Dunlop won just a single cap when in his 30s.After his playing career Billy Dunlop was offered a seat on the Mersey Docks Board.Provenance:Bought at Sotheby's, London, 14th July 2000 as lot 14.
A 9ct. gold & enamel winner's medal for the Liverpool Shipping Football League Challenge Cup 1928-29,the reverse inscribed "MELLY" CUP, WINNERS, 1928-9, WHITE STAR F.C., S.H. DAVIES, in original fitted caseThe Melly Cup bears the name of Charles Pierre Melly, the philanthropist born in Tuebrook, Liverpool in 1829. From the date inscription, perhaps the Cup celebrated the centenary of his birth in 1929. He is particularly remembered for his drinking fountains created to make clean, drinking water available to the general public in Liverpool. The family's wealth was created through the cotton trade.
A 1963-64 Football League Division 1 Championship winner's medal awarded to Willie Stevenson of Liverpool FC,in 9ct. gold, inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, CHAMPIONS, DIVISION 1, SEASON 1963-64, , W. STEVENSON; sold with an example of Stevenson's autograph (2)In season 1963-64 Liverpool won the First Division title with a total of 57 points, four ahead of Manchester United.The Scottish left-half Willie Stevenson joined Bill Shankly's Liverpool from Rangers in 1962. At Anfield he also won a F.A. Cup winner's medal (see next lot) and a Cup Winners' Cup runners-up medal before losing his place to Emlyn Hughes which led to a move to Stoke City in 1967. Stevenson later had a spell in the NASL with the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The red Liverpool No.28 jersey worn by Steven Gerrard on his first full competitive start for the club in the UEFA Cup 3rd Round 2nd Leg tie v Celta Vigo played at Anfield 8th December 1998,long-sleeved, the reverse lettered GERRARD; sold with two supporting provenance documents which feature this shirt, a Wirral Echo newspaper and an edition of The Koppite magazine (3) Steven Gerrard was born in Whiston, Merseyside, 30th May 1980. He was playing for hometown team Whiston Juniors when he was noticed by Liverpool scouts and joined the Liverpool Academy aged 9. Gerrard signed his first professional contract with Liverpool on 5 November 1997 and made his first-team debut as a last minute substitute in the Premier League game v Blackburn Rovers at Anfield 19th November 1998. The present jersey represents Gerrard's first full start for Liverpool FC where for the record Celta Vigo beat Liverpool 1-0. And so began the career of a player who would be an all-time club legend playing in over 500 Premier League games and afforded winner's medals for the Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, F.A. Cup, three Football League Cups and a F.A. Community Shield.After the match with Celta Vigo Gerrard swapped shirts with opponent Goran Djorovic who in turn gifted it to a friend in Serbia. It was later acquired by a Liverpool supporter, the present consignor.

These were all obtain by the vendor in the 1960's her mother worked at Harrods, her father was a cinematographer at one of the UK world cup venues.
