Cherub holding pot has various scratches and marks throughout with damage to the wing tips and some dented type marks. Cigarette box has various light scratches, doorknocker has various light scratches and pitted type marks. Hand ornament has various light scratches and pitted type marks. Opera glasses - lens is cloudy. Two modern timers are reproduction - not known if in working order. Clock not known if in working order - light scratches and scuffs. Michael Gillespie (1929-2012) Girl (Sunflower), abstract and slender bronze sculpture, raised over a black slate plinth, signed 'MGN 4/10', 24.5 cm Remembered as a fine bronze-caster, during his career Michael Gillespie worked for Jacob Epstein to produce numerous bronze heads and also for Elisabeth Frink, who called him the 'best bronze caster in England'. In 1969 he wrote Studio Bronze Casting with John W Mills, and in 1979 Frink arranged that Mike should cast a copy of the great bronze sanctuary knocker on the door of Durham Cathedral. Born in London, Gillespie was educated at St Paul's school and Hammersmith College of Art (1952-56). Gillespie's sculpture was often abstract, dealing with balance and weight in a way that implied a sensation of imminent movement.

St Paul’s Villa a painted wooden dolls house and contents, English late 19th century, the stone painted brick effect exterior with black slate pitched roof with two chimneys, the façade with two large bay windows to ground floor and three glazed square windows above all with moulded sills and window bars, wooden panelled front door with brass knocker, front opens in two wings to reveal four rooms, hallway and landing with staircase and four internal doors, three rooms with build-in fire places and kitchen with stove, the house containing a selection of old and new furniture, pictures and ornaments, occupants include five early glazed china and parian dolls in good original clothes, four bisque head dancing dolls with original clothes, (exterior overpainted, interior papers not original). House 40” (102cm) high x 37” (94cm) wide and 22” (56cm) deep.
