19th Century Scottish Sampler, Worked By Agnes Tannahill, Aged 13 Years, worked with an alphabet and four planters of flowers, above a large Georgian house with raised embroidered horseshoe door knocker, the garden with green gates and potting sheds either side, various trees, plants and birds throughout the work, within a rose border, 41cm by 41cm
A pair of 18th century style white metal twin branch wall appliques, with relief cast figural/foliate back plates, 20.5cm high and a pair of grey painted 'door knocker' wall lights cast with a female mask, 19cm high. (4) This lot has been imported from outside the UK for sale under the temporary admission scheme. Additionally Import VAT is payable at 20% on the hammer price. VAT at 20% will be added to the buyer's premium but will not be shown separately on the invoice.
