A pair of 19th century porcelain putti, 14.5 cm high, and two similar figures (a.f.) (4) Condition report Report by RB The two putti, numerous little chips and or slight loss. The Staffordshire piper, some crazing and chips to decoration, predominately to the bagpipe, his shoes and his hair. The porcelain figure, of a lady holding a basket of flowers, hat rim restored, rear of dress chipped on the hem, base cracked in the middle, some loss/chips to the flowers.
A Beswick Huntswoman, grey, 1730 (leg glued, hat chipped), and Beswick Huntsman, second version, 868 (ear chipped), both gloss (2) Condition report Report by NG Huntswoman: Small chip to rim of hat. Back right leg been glued very crudely done and a piece missing. Round Beswick stamp to belly. Huntsman: Small chip to tip of horses left ear. Some other roughness to horses ears and riders boots, base moulded and with round Beswick stamp.
Late 19th/early 20th century Simon & Halbig (Germany) bisque head doll, head impressed 'SH 1079 DEP 6 1/2', having jointed composition body with walking legs and moving head, fixed blue eyes, open mouth with teeth, pierced ears and blonde curly wig. Wears felt skirt and matching coat, straw hat, white cotton undergarments and blue satin shoes (marked '36'). Height 44cm.
Two Dean's Rag Book Walt Disney Mickey and Minnie Mouse cloth dolls: Minnie Mouse, circa 1930s, 'Made in England by Dean's Rag Book Co Ltd London' label to right foot, applied Rexine pie eyes, velveteen nose and mouth, felt face, velveteen body, wearing green felt hat with orange felt flower, white and red polka dot skirt, yellow velveteen hands and feet, card lined soles, tail perished and covered in duct tape, height 34 cm, overall G, left eye lifting slightly, hole to seam on left foot and P tail; Mickey Mouse, velveteen doll, black boot button eyes, printed toothy grin, internal wire armature allowing body to pose, wearing original red velveteen shorts with yellow buttons, felt hands and feet, height 15 cm, overall F, faded, nose worn, grubby. Three Dutch style wooden peg dolls in Welsh dress, c.late 19th/early 20th century: one with small head, home-spun clothes, Welsh hat (height 27cm); larger doll with cloak, missing an arm (height 31.5cm); smallest doll in original home-spun clothing (height 19cm), one arm loose, together with a Welsh love spoon (length 9.5cm).
