Likely complete, or very near complete (strictly sold as unchecked). A rare and early example of a vintage Lego set.

Manoscritto - Baldocci Angelo. Capitoli attenentj alle Battaglie del Ponte. [Pisa: 12 gennaio 1725-1727].Manoscritto su carta in-folio piccolo (mm 267x185). i + [14] + i. Un fascicolo unico di 14 carte, di cui l'ultima bianca. Le carte non sono numerate ma riportano i richiami a pie' pagina. Legatura coeva in cartoncino colorato cucito alla rustica. Filigrana: sole a dieci raggi con lettera 'H' sottostante; contromarca: lettere 'CR' intrecciate. Il titolo è racchiuso in una cornice tracciata a mano e colorata in rosso, celeste e giallo oro. Al di sopra di esso si trova una xilografia raffigurante un angelo sopra le nuvole, circondato da cherubini, che suona una tromba recante una bandiera con la scritta 'Pisa' , il tutto colorato a tempera all'epoca in rosso, rosa, celeste, azzurro e giallo oro. Ai lati della cartouche del titolo si trovano gli stemmi xilografici di Pisa e dei Medici, colorati in rosso e azzurro su fondo dorato. Infine in basso vi è un piccolo legno raffigurante la battaglia del ponte, anch'esso colorato in rosso, azzurro, celeste e giallo oro. Ampia iniziale colorata all'inizio del testo. Vergato in elegante e chiara grafia in inchiostro marrone. Ottimo stato di conservazione.Pregevole manoscritto, probabilmente ufficiale, dedicato a fissare delle regole chiare e precise per il celebre Gioco del Ponte. Così si apre il testo: "Meritando quest'Antico e Nobil Gioco d'esser regolato di particolari, e chiare disposizioni, che possino facilitare l'uso d'esso, e renderlo più decoroso, e sicuro dalli sconcerti". Il Gioco del Ponte è una festa storica che si svolge ogni anno sul Ponte di Mezzo a Pisa. Nel gioco si fronteggiano le Magistrature che rappresentano i quartieri cittadini, riunite nelle Parti di Mezzogiorno e Tramontana (a sud e a nord dell'Arno). Nel corso dei secoli il gioco è stato più volte interrotto e ripristinato, subendo progressive modifiche alla formula originale. Durante il Granducato di Toscana, i Medici trasformarono la natura della disputa, che prima del loro arrivo in città li vedeva quali nemici principali dei Pisani. I primi tre punti dei "Capitoli" sanciscono l'obbligo della tenuta di un libro di memorie, da affidarsi ad un magistrato cittadino, in cui siano registrate tutte le battaglie e stabiliscono le pene pecuniarie per i trasgressori destinate alla parte offesa e all'albergo dei poveri. I "Capitoli da osservarsi nelle due Battaglie, cioè nella Generale, et in quella di S. Antonio" sono divisi in XIV punti, mentre i capitoli specifici della Battaglia di S. Antonio e quelli della Battaglia Generale sono rispettivamente VIII e XX. In fine, prima dell' "Aggiunta" divisa in V capitoli e datata 1727, si trovano le firme dei deputati dei due schieramenti e la sottoscrizione del commissario di Pisa datata 12 gennaio 1725. L'estensore del presente manoscritto risulta essere lo stesso che ha redatto la copia ufficiale dei Capitoli del 1725, oggi conservata presso la Biblioteca Comunale di Pisa (Ms. Comune D 1134). Presso la stessa biblioteca si conserva inoltre un'altra copia manoscritta, piuttosto scorretta e lacunosa, del testo (Ms. Comune D 1135). In nessuno di questi due manoscritti, tuttavia, vi è traccia dell'Aggiunta del 1727, che pare quindi essere tramandata solo dal presente manoscritto. Pare quindi verosimile ipotizzare che la presente fosse la copia ufficiale fatta redigere nel 1727 quando fu stesa l'Aggiunta.
