Rare Georgian East Norfolk Militia Light Company Officers Short Tailed Coatee c1810-20, fine example of a scarlet cloth coatee with fine black (faded to brown) velvet collar and cuffs decorated with gold wire lace. Double row of small gilt metal open backed coatee buttons for the East Norfolk Militia and strips of gold lace to the front. Stitched in winged epaulettes with light company silver bugles attached. Reverse of the coatee with gilt buttons and bullion light company bugles. Interior with blanket cloth lining. Generally remains in good condition.

A black 1930/40 fur cape with a green paisley design lining from the Ulster Fur Co. The fur is worn around the hemline in places. Together with a black fur muff which has the same lining as the cape. Also a three-quarter length musquash late 1940s' shaded musquash cape with a neru collar, and a beige men's Crombie coat with leather buttons, flap pockets, epaulettes on shoulders, probably 1980s (with original Crombie label). A mid-brown sateen 1870s bodice with a 16" waist - could be a teenage girls as there is no whalebone - with pointed peplum at the back, oversleeves in epaulettes style edged in braiding and mother-of-pearl buttons, the waist detail has a strap bodice with a rosette (the coffee lace sleeves are badly damaged). Also a dress with two shoulder straps made from vintage satin fabric with detailed embroidered braiding in a colourway of mainly yellow and blue; the fabric is probably Asian dating from 1930s, no damage. Also an Eastern European ladies hat with fur ear muffs, Edwardian (fur is worn). (3)
