A variant Thomason Patent Ne Plus Ultra corkscrew, 19th c, the bronze barrel applied with gilt royal arms, the bronze upper handle of elliptical shape, barrel shaped and ring turned stained wood handle with brush Worm still retaining its sharp point, barrel with a few old knocks and scratches but no dents, badge in tact, handle with minute chips around the thin turning at opposite end to brush.
