An eighth experimental clarinet by Sax is described by Beryl Kenyon de Pasqual in the Galpin Society Journal, XLII. The current instrument is referred to in a paper "Extant Soprano Clarinets by Adolphe Sax" given by Thomas Reil and published in Proceedings of the Clarinet and Woodwind Colloquium 2007 celebrating the Collection of Sir Nicholas Shackleton (Ed. Arnold Myers), pp. 105-106.
