A Minton biscuit porcelain model of Hannah More, typically modelled seated on a C-scroll base, 17.5cm high, circa 1840 (some small chips); a Continental bisque porcelain model of the Uffizi 'Wrestlers', 18cm in length, late 19th century; and three later Royal Copenhagen bisque plaques, 15cm diameter (see illustration on website) Note: Hannah More (1745-1833), educator, writer on religeous matters and philanthropist.
Interesting collection of Victorian and later puppets and accessories/spares including: Juggler and Chair Balancer with papier mache heads, 3 carved wooden head puppets, large Clown glove puppet with papier mache head, 2 small wooden puppets (one with good quality highly detailed bisque head), Scarecrow puppet etc.
A closed mouth bisque headed Jumeau with fixed blue eyes, pierced ears with original earrings and original wig. Fully jointed fixed wrist body. Wearing the original cream lace dress and tulle trimmed bonnet. With original handmade shoes. Additional clothes including large Jumeau felt bonnet with flower trim, home made blue skirt, underwear etc. Sold with a copy of photograph of original owner Beatrice. The doll was brought back for her from France by her father during the 1914-18 and was treasured until she died recently at the age of 98. Impressed "D.E.P" 12in H
